Apply for MEDIA ACCREDITATION（ENGLISH）
The media accreditation period is now open for the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, which will be held in Yuzawa Naeba, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, on 22-23 February 2020.
Please be advised that applications received after Saturday 1 February will not be considered.
The first FIS Alpine Ski World Cup events held in Japan also took place in Naeba in 1973, 1975 and 2016. Yuzawa and Naeba are famous and popular places within Japan, especially during the winter season. Interested media are advised to register early as transportation and accommodation are limited.

All applicants are responsible for their own visa and the registration deadline is on Friday 31 January 2020.
For the photographers who wish to go on-course, the briefing will take place at the media centre at 16:00 on Friday 21 February (TBC).

Media Center is located at the 6th building of Naeba Prince Hotel, 2nd Floor, Room “Shakunage.”
Every media person must go first to the Media Centre to get their accreditation made upon their arrival at Naeba Prince Hotel. The applicant need to bring a copy of the confirmation e-mail (with individual accreditation ID) and also an ID or passport in order to collect the accreditation. Once in possession of a valid accreditation, the media person may start using media facilities and services. All applicants are responsible for their own Visas.
The Media Centre has all the facilities media need to work. The Media Centre will provide working areas, cabled internet access, Wi-Fi, news services to all accredited media. Press Conferences will be taken place in the Media Centre.A dedicated refreshment area is also located within the Media Centre, offering snacks and beverages.
Results, news, start lists and other official information are printed at the Media Centre.

As a courtesy to all accredited media to cover this World Cup, OC has made a selection of recommended hotels in venue city. Kindly note that there are not “official” hotels and there are limited numbers of rooms but OC will be able to assist media from abroad to make reservation at the media hotel. Access to the course cannot be guaranteed as we will proceed according to the photographers priority list.Photographers who wish to go on-course is required to wear a Photographer Bib, and the bib will be only available at the Photographer Briefing held at 16:00 on Friday 21 February at the Media Centre.
The Mixed Zone is the area for Host Broadcasters, Rights Holders, Non-rights Holders and Written Press. Interviews are allowed only in these areas and the Media Zone.
Awards Ceremony will take place immediately after the races in the Finish Area. Photographers are allowed to go the Photographers’ area which is located behind the Host Broadcaster’s camera positions in the Finish Area, just before the Awards Ceremony starts. No photographers are allowed inside the Finish Area during the short Winners’ Presentation.
Winners’ Press Conference
Winners’ Press Conference will take place at the Media Centre approximately 20 minutes after the Awards Ceremony. The top three skiers of the competition will be invited to the Press Conference.
